Chuck is a newcomer on the Up-State music scene, but by no means is he new to music or the area for that matter. A product of the 70's Chuck cut his teeth listening to the likes of Carlos Santana, Jim Croce, Eric Clapton and Crosby, Stills & Nash to name just a few. His first band (Raspberry Waffle Iron) formed in 1970 at the age of 12 was a neighborhood legend in Miami, Fl. "If you had a pool, we'd play your party".
"In my show I love to take Classic Rock hits that are traditionally associated with electric bands and play them Acoustic... it's fun to see someone singing along to a song they weren't expecting to hear from a guy with a guitar and a mic."
Chuck has had thirty years of influences, both listening and playing music and by living it as well. For the Classic Rock fans his sets range from James Taylor to Jethro Tull, then move to more contemporary covers such as Green Day & Staind, with plenty of his Original Songs thrown in.
"I've lived in the Carolina's and the Caribbean as well as on a sailboat in the Keys, been married twice...divorced twice. A father of two, alcoholic, manic-depressive... all with a great sense of humor. Basically all of the ingredients for good songwriting!"
